He studied mathematical modeling in mathematics and since then he has made a living as a traveling teacher of mathematics at various universities. He believes that mathematics is the language of natural sciences and behaves accordingly. He enjoys mathematical modeling of various natural phenomena and processes, data processing, correct reasoning, machine learning, industrial mathematics and other hobbies. He is a co-founder of the movement for correct, i.e. Bayesian, inference 4BIN and the Association of Microbiologists, Immunologists and Statisticians SMÍŠ. He regularly writes about academic wrongdoing in dŽurnál.

Václav Hořejší once again couldn't hold back and sent me an email in which he boasts that he is the most cited Czech immunologist. So I wrote to him, dear Václav, I would prefer you to have less quotes but more truth during covid. This led to an interesting exchange of invectives, in which Václav invited me to - if I'm that smart - write how I would proceed in a covid pandemic.
