The Czech population does recognize totalitarianism, but on the one hand, it is quite used to it, and moreover, a significant part of its fellow citizens does not mind, or even welcomes it. Partly this is natural selection – in recent centuries, the more free-spirited of each generation have ended up on the gallows, in crime, or at least in emigration. But it is partly human nature. People generally don't mind totalitarianism, as long as the rulers allow them to hate, persecute and exalt themselves over some group of people. The Covidists got this leitmotif of human history right and offered the masses the opportunity to hate the unvaccinated.

So far, the covidists are doing well. Most people believed the propaganda in the official media and got vaccinated. Now, of course, they don't want to go back to covid because - as Mark Twain said - it's easier to fool people than to explain to them that they were fooled.
