President Trump Participates in a Meeting and Luncheon on Super Intelligence

very good meeting, very productive, extremely friendly, and the one thing that we all have in common is we love our country and we love the world and we want to make sure it's a safe place. And what we're talking about today will make it a better place and a much safer place. So I just want to thank these are the greatest the most brilliant people probably in the world. I met many of them were meeting last week with President Xi and myself and he acknowledged these are the most brilliant people the people behind me and the people sitting with me. These are the most brilliant people in the world and the job they've done is unbelievable. We have a very big lead and we're going to keep our lead and it's a very positive thing. It's an amazing industry. There are those that say it's bigger than the industrial revolution. Now, I don't know if that's so, but everyone seems to think it is, and it could be substantially bigger. And we're leading and we're going to keep it that way. So, I just wanted to thank everybody. You recognize, I would say, almost every one of the people sitting and standing behind me. Uh, I I just think it's uh it's an honor to be involved with this group of very very brilliant people and I thank you very much. Thank you, >> Mr. artificial intelligence today. >> Well, we're doing one thing. We're going to be signing a document today at about 5:00 renaming artificial intellig because it's not artificial. We all agree on that. And we're going to be renaming it super intelligence, officially renaming it. And that'll come out at five o'clock today. Uh but the there was a lot of commonality in this room. It was pretty amazing. and and all for the good. Really amazing. >> The belief of everybody that you're meeting with today that no guard rails, no regulation of AI, super intelligence as you call it is necessary. >> Well, there's a belief that there should be tremendous self-regulation and we automatically have regulation with the Department of Justice, the FBI, all of that. But the self-regulation's very important. There's something else that was discussed and that's local communities. Uh this is a group that loves local communities. They love our country and they're going to work with local communities for the data centers in particular and they're going to work to make the community happy. Uh that's might be supplying uh oil and gas. It might be supplying education. It may be helping teachers along financially, helping people along financially. And uh they've all agreed that that's a very positive. Nobody really thought of it and it's a very positive thing. So you're going to see data centers are going to be very popular because this is the group and they're the ones that want and they're also the ones that want to see communities that are safe and uh happy and they're going to make communities very very happy. Otherwise they'll be forced to go overseas or other locations. But even in America there are so many people that want data centers. you know, the areas with data centers have become very rich. People have become very rich. Their taxes have gone down, not up, and a lot of good things have happened. But, uh, these people and others having to do with the data centers that you've been reading so much about, I think they're going to do things for the community that will be really financially beneficial and otherwise beneficial. plans to go public while safety concerns and did the IPL. >> Well, we're going to be putting out a statement in a little while uh summing up some of the things that we did. But there's a great there's an unbelievable feeling in this room. Sort of a feeling of love for our country and they want to do the right things. These are people that love our country.
