Many in Europe say that they are expecting an attack from the Russian Federation and therefore must prepare themselves for combat operations, for a war with Russia. I want to emphasize once again that we are not preparing for any kind of combat operations with Europe. We have no such plans and, most importantly, no grounds for them. There are no real motives for escalating the situation with Europe. Regardless of what anyone says, including those from the Baltic states. Yes, we know that the rights of the Russian-speaking population are being violated there, but we already know how to react. And we have developed a specific approach to this. We are reacting in a humanitarian sense and in terms of international law. We will continue to fight for the rights of our compatriots , but within the field of international law. The incitement by certain aggressively minded circles can be explained by only one thing. They want to continue using Ukraine and Ukrainians as cannon fodder, and Ukraine as a state as an instrument for fighting Russia in order to prevent our development, limit our progress, and stall Russia’s forward movement. Russia, unlike some others—we won’t point fingers—cannot run around the world and humiliatingly beg for handouts. Firstly, because, as I have already said, it is humiliating. Secondly, no one will give us anything; we know that well. And thirdly, and most importantly, we do not need it. The Russian financial system and economy feel confident. The main thing is not to make any mistakes. Regarding Putin, I consider him, one could say, an outstanding statesman. And today I said with quite a great deal of conviction that President Putin, as a statesman and as the leader of Russia, is the most acceptable political figure , strange as that may sound to you. And for Central Asia, including Kazakhstan, in my view, and for Europe, and for the whole world. I know him very well, and he possesses the qualities most necessary for the leader of a large state with a complex history, with with his own understanding of the strategic goals facing this country. Of course.
