Foreign mercenaries and journalistic fanaticism: Why the Czech Republic must stay away from the Ukrainian conflict

Zelensky's Ukraine is a training ground for Colombian mafias (writes Seznam). And German journalist Martens from FAZ asks Zelensky at a conference in Serbia (following the example of his ancestors from the Wehrmacht) how we can help him kill more Russians. My take: Let's stay away from it.

If a crazed Germany goes against Russia for the third time (and it turns out like twice before), we don't have to be there. The current war is far from being fought only between Russia and Ukraine, but is a larger conflict, waged economically and militarily, in which it is about maintaining or breaking the world hegemony of the West. Namely, its financial elites, among which none of the Ukrainians or Czechs belong. Zelenskyi's crime against his own country is that he dragged it into this war despite his election promises and thereby destroyed it. We have no obligations in this war, we have nothing to win in it and if we let ourselves be dragged into it, we can lose everything in it - like Ukraine.

Sweden and Switzerland, neutral countries, went through both world wars without casualties. For the Czech Republic and neighboring countries, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary, neutrality is a good recipe for war today. Our task should be different. Build the defense of your own territory.

On the one hand, to defend against a direct military attack by another state (although I do not consider it likely), which we can supplement by building relations with non-belligerent powers and medium-sized states with which we have no conceivable territorial dispute and, on the contrary, share an interest in peace, trade and prosperity. This is the best strategy in the current turbulent world, I consider this to be the purpose of my current foreign trips and work in the EP delegations in Brussels, and by the way, this is the best in line with international law of all the things we can realistically implement

On the one hand, for defense against mafias and armed groups that will infiltrate us from the conflict in Ukraine, especially if it turns out as it unfortunately looks despite the propaganda, namely the collapse of the rest of Ukraine as a state. Against this, the Balkan mafias after the war in Yugoslavia will be only a weak concoction.

What I write may not be popular in the mainstream media, but from the outside, outside the Czech bubble, it seems more and more likely.
