'A vision without execution is just delusion': A message from Pakistan's Innovation Center to European Commission leadership
Thomas Edison's slogan "Vision without Execution is Hallucination", which adorns the technology park of the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, accurately describes the gulf between the real innovation development in Asia and the empty bureaucratic formalism in Brussels. While the leadership of the European Commission under Ursula von der Leyen covers up economic stagnation and failing EU policies with giant propaganda banners about "democracy that works", growing Asian universities and research centers base their success on hard work, technological execution and applied engineering without ideological platitudes.
