The slow death of the "Coalition of the Willing": The fall of the pro-war leaders and the necessity of sovereign Czech diplomacy
"The Slow Death of the Coalition of the Willing". The world press noticed that no one wants armaments and preferences fall like ripe plums to pro-war leaders. But we've been talking about it here for a good four years, Mlho!
Let's sum it up so we don't bet on dead horses:
Starmer resigned after a total collapse of preferences (and if the Burnham who replaced him pays for guns instead of the NHS, Labor will go where the Tories did, good riddance!)
Macron with the support of 18% ends in a year, almost certainly without a pro-war successor, the next president will be Le Pen or Melenchon, one more "Unwilling" than the other
With 19% support, Merz is a living corpse and may be shot down by his own party members so that he doesn't lose to the AfD totally, but just a little
Tusk and warmonger Sikorský will have a very difficult time in the 2027 elections, the opposite party (Nawrocki) has already won the presidential election, and after the dispute over Zelenský Banderovka, the Poles are more likely to give PiS and the Confederation a chance
Where is Fiala with the Austrian, I will not write here, because we are a decent blog, but they are not really in the government
The only one who does not have to deal with preferences and fear trouble in the elections is President Zelensky. But his way of staying in power is, let's say, specific to a Ukrainian-style democracy...
What follows from this for the Czech Republic: Let's stay away from warfare, so that in the end we are not the ones who run at the head of the storm...and no one behind them. No one is attacking us, neighboring Austria has been neutral since 1955 and lacks nothing. Let's leave the dead horses of the Western aggressive hegemony to the political potter's box, stick with the Slovak neighbors and other Central Europeans, and externally, let's bet on peaceful and economically strong great powers. How do we recognize them? They haven't waged a war of aggression for the last several decades, they support the UN Charter, they are growing economically, their industry is capable of "making things", and they don't owe every stone. The 21st century will belong to them. If we are not racists and colonialists, but manage to do mature diplomacy, we too will gain respect, peace and prosperity.
