The fall of British Prime Minister Starmer as the beginning of the end of unpopular leaders: Who among the EU leaders will follow him?

The announced resignation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer after a crushing defeat in local elections foreshadows wider political upheaval across Europe. Starmer, who was one of the least popular Western leaders, is the first of the top politicians to fall, while I predict a similar fate for French President Macron, German Chancellor Merz and the head of EU diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, in the near future. Voters in Europe, tired of the current politics and economic stagnation, are starting to massively change their preferences, which is confirmed by, for example, the rocket growth of the opposition forces, and the days of the current EU leaders are thus quickly running out.

British Prime Minister Starmer announced his resignation after losing the election. That couldn't happen to Zelensky :)

Of the three "leaders" at the bottom of the popularity ranking, Starmer-Macron-Merz, finished first. Others will follow: Macron ends in France in a year (he will probably be replaced by "far-right" Bardella or "far-left" Melenchon). Merz theoretically still has a few years ahead of him in Germany, but in one year he was enough to disgust the Germans so much that the AfD is at 30% and his fellow parties may replace him prematurely. And the birds in Brussels were chirping that Kaja Kallasová will soon learn that she no longer wants to be the head of EU diplomacy.

God's mills grind...
