Corruption in Zelensky's inner circle: Dnepropetrovsk mafia, billions from the EU and another burden for taxpayers
New corruption scandals affecting the immediate environment of President Volodymyr Zelensky are definitively tearing off the mask from the Kyiv government apparatus. While European representatives led by Ursula von der Leyen and Danuša Nerudova are sending tens of billions of euros to Ukraine from the pockets of European taxpayers, the internal structures around Andrije Jermak and Timur Mindič are consolidating their power and liquidating any attempts to control the flow of money. The label "Zelensky regime", which was hysterically defended by Jan Farský in CT, thus becomes an accurate diagnosis of the reality there.
The Ukrainian corruption case is aimed at Zelensky's inner circle. What will it be this time? Golden toilets, bags of money, luxury villas? Are the billions that Ursula and Danuš sent there for eternal return, or will they come to Brussels in September for a foothold? And is it allowed to talk about the "Green regime" on CT without Farský jumping out that it's a pro-Russian expression?
The true nature of the Zelensky regime is beginning to emerge. From clown to godfather, solid career. Even poor Fedorov, the sacked defense minister, has stopped talking about the presidential elections. They probably explained to him that being the darling of Western non-profits and protesters with cardboard banners is nice, but the Dnepropetrovsk mafia Jermaks, Mindičs and others will not let themselves be blown to bits.
It would be an excellent detective story for summer evenings - if we didn't pay for it with our taxes. And if because of the endless war, which is an instrument of hegemony for the "West" and a money launderer for the Ukrainian mafia, thousands of innocent men from farms and factories did not die every week.
PS: If the Commission in Strasbourg presents us with another program of loans, donations or subsidies without investigating these cases, I will of course be against it, even if I am in the minority.
