Proceedings at the Ministry of External Affairs of India: The EU-India Agreement, Bilateral Relations and the Multipolar World
During my business trip to Delhi, I was received at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs by Secretary West, Ambassador Sibi George. At a time of fundamental changes in the global order and the onset of multipolarity, we focused on the practical opportunities that the newly negotiated free trade agreement (FTA) between India and the European Union brings for mutual prosperity, as well as on the development of specific Czech-Indian projects.
It was an honor and a pleasure to be received here in Delhi at the Ministry of External Affairs of India by H.E. Ambassador Sibi George, Secretary (West) - in the Czech context, the Indian Deputy Foreign Minister for our, "western" part of the world.
In the era of a nascent multipolar world, we discussed the new opportunities for shared prosperity opened up by the new India-EU Free Trade Agreement. We did not miss the possibility of bilateral cooperation between India and the Czech Republic in the fields of trade, education and culture.
I wish India and the BRICS grouping a successful upcoming summit with the hope that in the not too distant future we Europeans will also have the opportunity to sit at this table.
